About the tank and military truck adventure

The adventure starts before you even reach the tank.

Climb aboard a GAZ-66 military truck for a bumpy, off-road journey through the forest. After 20 minutes of bouncing along the trails with the lads, you arrive at the tank course—and swap the passenger seat for the controls of an MT-LB tracked armoured vehicle.

This time, the groom does not get all the action. Several members of the group can take a turn driving, with 40 or 50 minutes of tank time depending on your numbers.

Two military vehicles, forest trails and a proper test of your driving skills. This is a Budapest stag activity built for lads who want more than another round at the bar.

How the activity works

• Your private minibus takes the group from Budapest to the base.
• The team welcomes you with a drink before the adventure begins.
• Board the GAZ-66 for a 20-minute forest ride to the tank course.
• Your instructor explains the controls and gives you a briefing.
• Selected participants take turns driving the MT-LB in approximately 10-minute rounds.
• Groups of 4–12 receive four rounds; groups of 13–16 receive five.
• If you prefer, swap the final driving round for an extreme demonstration lap with the instructor, a former soldier.
• Afterwards, enjoy a pre-booked meal before returning to central Budapest by private minibus.

• Location: Outdoor military vehicle course outside Budapest
• Tank time: Approximately 40 minutes for 4–12 people or 50 minutes for 13–16
• GAZ-66 forest ride: Approximately 20 minutes
• Journey to the base: Around 45–60 minutes, depending on traffic and pickup address
• Total duration: Approximately 3–4 hours, including transfers and preparation
• Maximum group size: 16 participants
• Included time on site: Up to two hours; longer stays can be arranged in advance
• Availability: Throughout the year, except during thunderstorms or heavy snow

Give the groom the driving seat with a tank package for groups of up to 12, without the GAZ-66 forest ride.

Group tank driving

Choose a tank-only package with four, five or six 10-minute rounds according to group size. Ideal if you want to share the driving without adding the military truck experience.

Important information

• The tank time is shared between selected drivers; it is not 40–50 minutes per person.
• Choosing the instructor’s demonstration replaces the final participant driving round.
• The GAZ-66 experience is a passenger ride through the forest.
• Dress for the weather and an outdoor activity.
• Save alcoholic drinks for after the driving. Groups arriving intoxicated or under the influence of drugs may be refused, and dangerous behaviour will result in the activity being stopped.
• The advertised per-person price is based on a group of 10 booking at least two activities.

Can the instructor take us on an extreme lap?

Yes. You can replace the final participant round with an instructor-led demonstration lasting approximately 8–12 minutes.

Do we drive the GAZ-66 ourselves?

No. The GAZ-66 takes your group on a 20-minute passenger ride through the forest to the tank course.

Are transfers included?

Yes. Private minibus transfers from Budapest to the activity site and back are included.

What is the maximum group size?

The package accommodates up to 16 people, based on the GAZ-66’s capacity.

Can we add a meal?

Yes. Choose a burger meal or a traditional Hungarian goulash menu and request it in advance.
