About the Lake Balaton sailing experience
For once, the best table in the house is floating in the middle of a lake.
Leave Budapest behind for four hours aboard your own sailing boat on Lake Balaton. The skipper handles the sailing, the barbecue takes care of lunch and the open bar keeps everyone supplied with cold drinks. Your only pressing decision is whether to claim a sunny spot on deck or head over for another helping.

How the activity works
- Your guide meets you at your accommodation for the private minibus journey to Lake Balaton.
- Board your group’s sailing boat and meet the skipper.
- Set off for a four-hour cruise with time to relax, enjoy the scenery and swim when conditions permit.
- Connect your music through Bluetooth or MP3.
- Enjoy an onboard barbecue featuring chicken, pork, beef, vegetables, salad and bread.
- Help yourself to the all-you-can-eat meal and enjoy unlimited wine, beer and soft drinks during the boat hire.
- Return to shore and travel back to Budapest with your guide.
