About the three-gun shooting experience
A stag do is the perfect opportunity to try target shooting with your mates, and this is one of Stagventure’s most popular activities in Budapest.
Load your magazine, take aim and put your accuracy to the test with three iconic firearms: the AK-47, Glock 17 and Ruger MK IV.
Each participant receives 25 rounds and shoots under the supervision of a professional instructor at an indoor Budapest shooting range. No previous experience is required, making the activity suitable for beginners as well as experienced shooters.
Once everyone has finished, you can collect your targets and take them home as souvenirs—and, of course, compare who achieved the best score.
How the activity works
- Your local guide will meet your group at an agreed location based on your accommodation address and the shooting range being used.
- If the activity takes place at the central shooting range, your group will usually travel there on foot or by tram with the guide at your own expense. Private transport is not included for the city-centre venue.
- At the range, a professional instructor will explain how the firearms work and how to handle them safely. You will receive a complete safety briefing before entering the shooting area.
- Each participant will then fire 25 rounds: 5 rounds with an AK-47, 10 rounds with a Glock 17, 10 rounds with a Ruger MK IV
- The session is supervised by the instructor at all times. You are welcome to ask questions about the firearms and the shooting process.
- The listed weapons may occasionally be replaced by comparable models due to maintenance or availability. If this happens, Stagventure will inform your group.
- After the session, you can collect your paper targets as souvenirs before returning to your accommodation.
Location and timing
- Activity duration: Approximately one hour, depending on the size and pace of your group
- Journey to the range: Approximately 20–30 minutes, depending on your accommodation, traffic and the available venue
- Total time required: Approximately two hours, including the journey
- Location: Indoor shooting range in or near central Budapest
- Availability: Throughout the year
- Because the shooting range is indoors, the activity can take place in all weather conditions.
Upgrade your shooting session
- Want to try more firearms and fire additional rounds? Upgrade to the five-gun shooting package for a bigger selection and an even more intense shooting experience.
- Ask Stagventure about the available weapons, number of rounds and current package options when booking.
