You can ask questions, compare favourites and discover why one glass appeals more than another. Beginners are welcome, so nobody needs to arrive with an expert opinion—or pretend to have one.

It’s an easy afternoon choice before dinner, with your guide handling the arrangements and staying until the end. Gather around the table, enjoy the conversation and leave with a better idea of what you’ll order next time.

Location and timing

• Location: A bar in Bucharest’s Old Town.
• Duration: Approximately 1½–2 hours, depending on group size and pace.
• Availability: Daily, throughout the year.
• Booking hours: Between 3 pm and 11 pm.
• Transport: Not included. Walk, use public transport or take a taxi at your own expense.

A late-afternoon booking leaves time for dinner afterwards. Tell us your other plans so we can help coordinate the schedule.

Keep the active plans first

Start with football, paintball or a shooting session, then move into the Old Town for your tasting. Schedule all shooting and driving activities before anyone drinks alcohol.

Add time on the lake

Combine the tasting with a separately booked private boat cruise for a different setting. Allow enough time for travel between the lake and the Old Town.

Continue by Hummer

Afterwards, a Hummer limousine ride can collect you for a city tour before dropping you at a restaurant or bar. Agree the route and timing in advance.
